Following on from its selection in one of the premier European film festivals, the Tampere International Film Festival, the Bearcage short film SHOCKWAVES has achieved official selection in both the Boston Independent Film Festival and the St Kilda Film Festival.
Shockwaves was written by Bearcage script writer, Michael Cove with edit, design and audio design carried out in-house. Cast, crew and locations were all sourced from the Canberra region with the exception of the lead role, which is played by noted Sydney actor Tony Barry.
The film, directed by Serge Ou and shot in Canberra and Queanbeyan, features talent almost exclusively drawn from the local area.
